Title Glimpse of “Queen” Unveiled: Young Director Rathan Rishi Introduces Influencer Yamini ER in a Powerful Female-Centric Film
Talented young filmmaker Rathan Rishi, who earned appreciation for his earlier films Uttara and Artist, is all set to return with his third directorial venture — a strong, heroine-oriented film titled “Queen.” The film marks the big-screen debut of renowned social media influencer Yamini ER as the female lead.
Produced under the banner of One Circle Films, Queen promises a fresh and socially relevant narrative with Yamini ER playing a pivotal role. Noted actors Kalakeya Prabhakar and Ajay Ghosh will be seen portraying the antagonists. Adding further intrigue, the makers are reportedly in talks with a popular hero from the 1990s to play the impactful role of the heroine’s father.
On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the makers released the title glimpse of Queen, offering an intriguing peek into the film’s theme. The glimpse hints at an unconventional love story rooted in contemporary society — one that goes beyond romance and enters the realm of social change. While some love stories are etched in stone or remembered through monuments like the Taj Mahal, Queen explores a love that evolves into a new law capable of reshaping society.
The glimpse stands out with references to the Indian Constitution, RTI Act, people-centric governance, and a thought-provoking concept termed the “Act of Love.” These elements have significantly raised curiosity and expectations around the film.
Director Rathan Rishi aims to present an inspiring and empowering story of a young woman who fights to provide legal recognition to her loved one’s dream, ultimately transforming that dream into reality.
Currently, Queen is progressing with regular shooting, and more updates are expected soon.
