“The Success of Little Hearts Inspires Us to Make More Meaningful Films”: Bunny Vas at the Thanks Meet
The recently released film Little Hearts, starring Mouli Tanuj and Shivani Nagaram, has taken audiences by storm, becoming a massive success. Directed by Sai Marthand under the ETV Win Original Productions banner and produced by Aditya Hasan, the film was promoted and distributed worldwide by Bunny Vas of BV Works and Vamsi Nandipati of Vamsi Nandipati Entertainments.
To celebrate the film’s overwhelming response, the team hosted a Thanks Meet in Hyderabad, where cast and crew shared their gratitude and excitement over the success.
Cast Reactions
Actor Nikhil, who played Mouli’s friend, said, “The audience’s response to my character has been incredible. I’m grateful to everyone who made this film a hit. I’ve also been friends with music director Sinjith for a long time, and Little Hearts gave us the chance to collaborate.”
Actor Hari, who portrayed Kishore, added, “Director Sai Marthand gave me an important role in the story, and the recognition I’m receiving now is very satisfying. The team became like a family during the shoot.”
Actress Padmini, who played Anjali, shared, “After auditioning for many films without clear feedback, I was thrilled when director Marthand immediately confirmed me for this role. It was a moment of pure joy.”
Actor Jai Krishna, who played Madhu, recalled, “I didn’t make a strong impression in my first audition, but after performing additional scenes, the director finalized me. Team members from ETV Win, Sai Krishna and Nithin, assured me I would gain recognition, and it’s happening.”
Actress Shivani Nagaram, who played Katyayani, said, “The media and even meme creators promoted our film strongly. Some people have watched it two or three times! Little Hearts connects well with both youth and family audiences. Shooting in just 35 days under a debut director, the film looks seamless. Our support system—ETV Win’s Sai Krishna and Nithin, and distributors Vamsi Nandipati and Bunny Vas—was incredible.”
Director’s Perspective
Director Sai Marthand expressed, “Mouli attracted audiences from the very first premieres. Initially, I wanted to make this a web series, but ETV Win supported it as a theatrical project. During production, I sometimes doubted if audiences would come to theatres, but our producers believed in me and let me lead. Bunny Vas and Vamsi Nandipati ensured a grand release and motivated us by updating us daily on collections and audience feedback.”
Lead Actor’s Joy
Lead actor Mouli Tanuj said, “The audience response has been beyond our expectations. From Day 1, we earned ₹2.5 crore—more than the total budget. The film continues to perform week after week. Everywhere I go, the feedback is positive. Personal calls from Bandla Ganesh and Ravi Teja, and a tweet from my favorite actor Nani, have been overwhelming. Moving forward, I’ll focus on films that audiences love and that also bring success to producers.”
ETV Win Heads on the Film
ETV Win Content Head Nithin said, “During the teaser launch, I predicted this film would be a big hit like Nuvve Kavali. Some doubted me then, but now everyone is praising Little Hearts. Every decade, a film with fresh content comes along, and this is one of them.”
ETV Win Head Sai Krishna added, “Little Hearts proves that audiences always support good content. The success of this film gives us the confidence to continue creating meaningful cinema, regardless of initial doubts or skepticism.”
Producers and Distributors Reflect
Producer-distributor Vamsi Nandipati said, “The joy audiences are sharing about Little Hearts is immensely satisfying. Normally, I wouldn’t consider such a story, but ETV Win believed in it. Sai Marthand’s close-up-driven direction, Mouli’s captivating performance, and Shivani’s talent made this film a hit. It’s a proud moment for debut producer Aditya Hasan and for everyone involved.”
Producer-distributor Bunny Vas said, “From the start, we believed audiences support strong content, and Little Hearts has proven that. Every rupee this film earns feels like a crore, as it’s the first release under my BV Works banner. Mouli’s popularity, achieved through talent and social media, is inspiring. The confidence gained from this success motivates me to produce more films. I’m deeply grateful to Bunny Garu, Allu Aravind Garu, and ETV Win for their unwavering support.”
