The Rise of Ashoka Trailer Launched in Telugu
The much-awaited trailer of the new-concept mass commercial entertainer The Rise of Ashoka has been officially released, raising expectations across audiences. The film stars Sathish Ninasam in the lead role, with Sapthami Gowda, who rose to nationwide fame with Kantara, playing the female lead.
Being simultaneously made in Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil, the film is directed by Vinod V. Dhondale and jointly produced by Vardhan Hari, Jaishnavi, and Sathish Ninasam under the banners Vriddhi Creations and Sathish Picture House. The Telugu version is being distributed in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana by Kalasrushti International, headed by Ravishankar. The film is gearing up for a grand multi-language release on the 27th of this month.
Telugu Trailer Launch Event Highlights
The Telugu trailer launch event was held on Friday in the presence of the film’s core team. Popular Telugu actor Satyadev attended the event as the chief guest and officially unveiled the trailer.
Speaking at the event, Satyadev said,
“Telugu audiences always support content-driven films, and I strongly believe they will stand by The Rise of Ashoka as well. The trailer itself makes it clear that this film has solid substance. Kannada cinema has been delivering rooted stories that Telugu audiences love, and this film fits perfectly into that space. Sathish is a very committed actor who has worked extremely hard for this project. Though it is unfortunate that the director passed away during the shoot, Sathish took complete responsibility and ensured the film reached this stage. I hope Sapthami Gowda does many more Telugu films.”
