The RajaSaab Sets Record with India’s Grandest Horror-Fantasy Haveli
Prabhas’ The RajaSaab Unveils India’s Largest Horror-Fantasy Set—A 41,256 Sq Ft Haveli Masterpiece
Rebel Star Prabhas is all set to take audiences on a chilling journey into the world of horror-fantasy with The RajaSaab. At the heart of this grand cinematic venture lies a jaw-dropping set—a sprawling 41,256 sq ft Haveli, now officially the largest horror set ever created in Indian cinema.
Crafted by renowned art director Rajeevan Nambiar, this Haveli isn’t just a location—it’s a character in itself. Designed with intricate detail and emotional depth, the space merges gothic grandeur with eerie mystery. Towering archways, endless shadow-filled hallways, and secretive chambers all combine to create an atmosphere that evolves with the story.
“We weren’t aiming for a set that simply looks haunted—we wanted it to feel haunted,” says Rajeevan. “Every detail, every texture was designed to evoke emotion. The moment you step in, the Haveli starts drawing you into its world.”
On June 16, the national media will get a first-hand experience of this extraordinary set, coinciding with the release of The RajaSaab’s much-anticipated teaser. Director Maruthi, known for his unique storytelling in the horror-fantasy space, has blended scale and soul to create an immersive universe like never before.
From floor tiles to chandeliers, every element within the Haveli has been handcrafted to elevate the visual storytelling. Even the lighting and colors are meticulously designed to amplify the haunting ambiance. This is not just production design—it’s cinematic architecture that breathes life into fear.
Produced by Viswa Prasad under the banner of People Media Factory, The RajaSaab is slated for a pan-India release on December 5, 2025, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. With music by Thaman S, a visionary director at the helm, and Prabhas leading the cast, The RajaSaab is shaping up to be a genre-defining experience.
