In a significant development for the Telugu film industry, Shree Sarathi Studios, a historic landmark in Hyderabad’s cinematic landscape, unveiled advanced Dolby mixing and sound design studios. This pioneering initiative was inaugurated amidst much fanfare on Friday, with renowned film personalities gracing the occasion.
The inauguration ceremony saw the Dolby Mixing Studio being inaugurated by esteemed film music director M.M. Keeravani, while the sound design studio was launched by fellow music director Shekhar Chandra. This marks a pivotal moment for Shree Sarathi Studios, which has been an integral part of Telugu cinema since its inception.
Speaking at the event, Chairman M.S.R.V. Prasad underscored the studio’s commitment to embracing modern technology while preserving its rich cinematic legacy. He emphasized the studio’s transition to a comprehensive facility equipped with cutting-edge technologies for both shooting and post-production, ensuring competitiveness in today’s film industry. Highlighting the studio’s first project utilizing this new technology, Prasad proudly announced that ‘Kalki,’ starring the dynamic Prabhas, will be the inaugural film to benefit from these sophisticated sound capabilities.
Director K.V. Rao echoed Prasad’s sentiments, emphasizing the studio’s ability to provide filmmakers with end-to-end support, from filming to final post-production. Rao stressed the importance of superior sound quality in enhancing the overall cinematic experience.
