“Sankranthiki Vachchunnam” – A Clean Festival Film Full of Fresh Entertainment: Victory Venkatesh
Victory Venkatesh, blockbuster hit machine Anil Ravipudi, and the most successful banner Sri Venkateswara Creations are collaborating for the highly anticipated movie ‘Sankranthiki Vachchunnam’. Dil Raju presents the film, while Sirish is producing it on a grand scale. Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh are playing the lead heroines. Sensational composer Bheems Ceciroleo is composing the music. The songs already released from this film have become sensational hits and created a huge buzz for the movie. The trailer has further increased the expectations. ‘Sankranthiki Vachchunnam’ is coming to the audience on January 14. On this occasion, hero Victory Venkatesh shared the highlights of ‘Sankranthiki Vachchunnam’ at a press conference.
How excited are you for ‘Sankranthiki Vachchunnam’?
This is another Sankranthi in my career. I am very happy to come with a clean entertaining film. It also has a little crime element, which is a new genre. I enjoyed the movie journey a lot. Everything is positive. Most of the films that I have released during Sankranthi in my career have done very well. I believe this movie will also do wonderfully.
What is the reason for doing promotions with so much energy this time?
It happened naturally. I liked the music a lot. I enjoy dancing. Some music tunes felt crazy as soon as I heard them. Also, the director Anil, the two heroines… a lively team came together. We thought of doing something new in the promotions. It is happy to see the audience enjoying the promotions.
Whose idea was it for you to sing a song?
I danced without knowing when I heard the song at two in the night. There was some crazy energy in that song. I casually said I would sing. My voice was good that day. Since there were English words, it became easier for me (laughs).
The song sung by Ramana Gogula became a big hit. After a long gap, he sang for your movie. How does it feel to get an excellent response to the song?
It’s a pleasure to see the song getting an excellent response.
What element excited you when you heard the story of ‘Sankranthiki Vachchunnam’?
The line ‘Ex-cop, ex-girlfriend, excellent wife’ felt very fresh. It felt like a minimum guarantee right there. Anil and I have a super hit combination. We are very friendly. In terms of performance, the comedy style will be a bit different in this. We tried something new very subtly. There will be fresh scenes. The movie turned out wonderfully. I want to continue doing movies with Anil as we have a good rapport.
About Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh?
Both have done very good characters. They performed excellently. Their characters will be very crazy.
About Bheems’ music?
Bheems worked very hard and gave the best music. He did it with the belief that this movie would be a good break for him. We thought it was a hit as soon as we heard the first tune. It became a super blockbuster. It’s the greatness of the audience. The ‘Godari Gattu’ song crossed 85 million views. All the songs received a tremendous response.
How did it feel when Anil narrated your ex-cop character?
It felt very funny. When the ex-girlfriend comes and says, ‘Are you thinking about me? Before I came, you beat up four people,’ it felt very hilarious. I enjoyed doing such scenes a lot. In this movie, I have four kids. I had to handle one of them quite a bit (laughs).The dialogues said in the climax will be very crazy. The audience will be very entertained. The youth will love the dialogues.
Dil Raju said that if you are on the sets, the producer need not go to the set as you take care of everything carefully. Is that true?
No, the producers should come (laughs). It’s a habit from my childhood. I treat every movie as my own. I wish everyone to be happy. I work sincerely. My journey with Dil Raju’s production has been very comfortable since ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’. The movies we made did very well. I wish they achieve more successes.
How does it feel to finish the movie in seventy days?
It’s happy to finish the movie fast. Everything went wonderfully as planned.
What would you like to tell the audience about this movie?
We are coming with a very nice festival film. It will be very entertaining. The climax will be very surprising. Kids, elders, youth, everyone will enjoy it.
How was it to go to Balayya’s ‘Unstoppable’ show?
I am glad. It was a very good time. A very nice experience.
Do hits and flops affect you?
Honest and sincere work is in our hands. Hits and flops are not in our control. I don’t think much about things that are not in my control.
Your social media accounts have a lot of positive posts. Why?
Life should be positive. Overthinking is unnecessary. Starting the day with a positive thought makes life very peaceful.
When is ‘Rana Naidu 2’?
It might come in March. Dubbing is done.

Stories are being worked on in Suresh Productions, Sitara Vamsi, Mythri, and Vyjayanthi Movies. Nothing has been finalized yet.
