Samantha Ruth Prabhu Launches ‘Idi Prema’ from Deewana
The much-anticipated romantic drama Deewana, starring young and promising actor Harshith Reddy, is steadily building buzz with its musical promotions. Adding star power to the excitement, leading actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu officially released the film’s first single, “Idi Prema,” on social media.
Following the release, the makers organized a grand song launch event at Prasad Labs. The event was graced by noted directors Venky Atluri, Ravikiran Kola, and Nandini Reddy as chief guests.
Directed by Srikanth Sangishetty, Deewana is being produced by Vasudev Koppineni and Sridevi Karyampudi under the banners of Arha Media and V Studios. The film introduces Smeha Manimegalai as the female lead and promises to be a heartfelt love story set for a grand theatrical release this summer.

Choreographer Krishna expressed his gratitude for the opportunity, saying that working on Deewana was a special experience and confidently predicted that all the songs in the film would become chartbusters.
Music director Eshwar Chand, making his debut, shared that he trained at KM Music Conservatory. He praised the producers for giving him creative freedom and revealed that the director encouraged everyone on the team to explore multiple aspects of filmmaking, from composing to writing. He emphasized that Deewana will stand out as a feel-good romantic entertainer.
Producer Sridevi Karyampudi credited Nandini Reddy for inspiring her journey into production and thanked Allu Aravind for his support. She expressed confidence in the film, highlighting the performances of the lead pair and the strength of its music.
Producer Vasudev Koppineni shared that the story instantly gave him confidence to begin production. He described Deewana as an emotional journey that reflects the feelings of every common man and assured audiences of a memorable theatrical experience.
Director’s Vision
Director Srikanth Sangishetty revealed that Deewana is a story he has cherished for a long time. He described it as a deeply emotional love story centered around a middle-class boy named Munna and his life journey. Drawing comparisons to timeless classics like Tholi Prema and 7G Brindavan Colony, he expressed confidence that Deewana will leave a lasting impact on today’s youth, especially with its moving climax.
