RRR Actor Ray Stevenson Dies At 58 In Italy

Hollywood actor Ray Steveson, who played the role of the British Governor Scott Buxton in SS Rajamouli’s Jr NTR, and Ram Charan starrer RRR, died on May 22. Condolences have been pouring in for the actor’s bereaved family.

After the news of his death has been announced, actors Jr NTR, Ram Charan, and director SS Rajamouli had taken to their social media handles to share their condolences and experience of working with him in the Oscar Award-winning RRR.

Ray was born George Raymond Stevenson in Lisburn, Ireland in the year 1964. The actor is supposed to turn 59 in another two days. However, as fate would have it, the actor died while filming for one of his upcoming films, in Italy. The cause of his death was unknown.

Expressing his shock and grief, SS Rajamouli posted a picture of him with the actor in his costume, from behind the scenes, to recollect his memories. The ace director wrote, “Shocking.. Just can’t believe this news. Ray brought in so much energy and vibrancy with him to the sets. It was infectious. Working with him was pure joy. My prayers are with his family. May his soul rest in peace.” (sic)

He is survived by his partner Elisabetta Caraccia and three children.
