The very title “Emo Emo Idi” instantly sets the tone for a breezy and feel-good romantic entertainer. The announcement glimpse opens on a playful and relatable note, featuring a humorous conversation between a mother and son that cleverly touches upon Gen Z relationship jargon and the amusing chaos surrounding modern-day marriages. Renowned for creating the blockbuster HIT Universe, director Dr. Sailesh Kolanu steps into a completely new genre with Emo Emo Idi, marking his first-ever romantic comedy. Known for his intense investigative thrillers, Sailesh now promises a heartwarming, breezy, laid-back, and delightfully goofy entertainer filled with laughter, love, and freshness.
The film stars Roshan Meka as Abhay, following his impressive debut in Pelli Sandadi and his recent success with Champion. He will be seen in a charming boy-next-door avatar, navigating love and relationships in today’s Gen Z world.
Opposite him, Preity Mukundhan essays the role of Apurva. Her vibrant screen presence in the glimpse has already drawn attention, and her refreshing appeal is expected to strike a strong chord with Telugu audiences.
