Rishab Shetty’s Jai Hanuman Begins with a Grand Launch at Anjanadri
National Award-winning filmmaker Prasanth Varma, who delivered the true pan-Indian phenomenon HanuMan, is all set to elevate his cinematic universe with its much-awaited sequel, Jai Hanuman. Positioned as the next monumental chapter in the expanding Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe, the film is being mounted on an epic scale by the prestigious banner Mythri Movie Makers, with T-Series presenting it.
Adding immense gravitas to the project, National Award winner Rishab Shetty headlines the film as Lord Hanuman, promising a deeply immersive, spiritually charged, and transformative portrayal. This rare collaboration of powerhouse talent has instantly propelled Jai Hanuman into the league of the most anticipated Indian films.
Renowned for blending contemporary storytelling with rich mythological depth, Prasanth Varma continues to push creative boundaries, while Mythri Movie Makers maintains its legacy of delivering blockbuster spectacles. Fresh off the nationwide acclaim of Kantara Chapter 1, Rishab Shetty’s casting has further ignited massive buzz across industries and languages.

The film was officially launched today in a traditional and majestic ceremony at Anjanadri Betta, Hampi, the sacred site believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. Bhushan Kumar sounded the clapboard, while Anil Thadani rolled the camera for the inaugural shot, which was directed by HanuMan star Teja Sajja. In a symbolic and auspicious moment, the script was formally handed over to Prasanth Varma by Bhushan Kumar, Anil Thadani, Naveen Yerneni, and Y. Ravi Shankar. With pre-production already in full swing, regular shooting is set to commence shortly.
Earlier, the makers unveiled a powerful first-look poster revealing Rishab Shetty as Lord Hanuman, capturing divine intensity and spiritual strength. The actor is currently undergoing a rigorous physical and mental transformation to authentically embody the immortal deity.

Designed as a high-octane mythological action epic set in Kaliyug, Jai Hanuman explores the idea that Hanuman’s silence signifies purpose—not surrender—concealing a force destined to rise. Rooted in unwavering devotion, loyalty, and timeless power, the film stands as a cinematic tribute to an eternal spirit.
Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar on a massive budget, the film promises world-class technical values and emotional depth. The technical crew features ace composer M.M. Keeravani, cinematographer S. Thirunavukkarasu, and production designer Srinagendhra Thangala, ensuring a visually and sonically grand experience.
