Ramana Gogula Powers ‘Gulab Jam’ from Anumana Pakshi
After the massive success of DJ Tillu (2022), writer–director Vimal Krishna is back with another quirky entertainer, Anumana Pakshi. Promising a delightful mix of eccentric humor and vibrant storytelling, the film is produced under the Chilaka Productions banner by Rajiv Chilaka, Meghha Chilakka, Sneha Rajesh Jagtiani, Vihaan Dand, and Sricharan Marneni. Rag Mayur and Merin Philip headline the project.
Kicking off its musical journey on a lively note, the makers have unveiled the first single, Gulab Jam—a track that perfectly captures the film’s playful and offbeat spirit.
Composer Sri Charan Pakala delivers an addictive composition that beautifully blends mellow traditional elements with peppy, contemporary beats. Lyricist Kittu Vissapragada adds a layer of charm with witty, sweet lines that mirror the sugary title while subtly reflecting the protagonist’s quirky personality.
The highlight of the track is Ramana Gogula, whose signature raspy and energetic vocals breathe life into the song. His distinctive voice adds a unique texture, making Gulab Jam instantly catchy and memorable.
On the visual front, the song is a treat, featuring stunning backdrops of snow-clad landscapes and lush greenery. The lead pair, Rag Mayur and Merin Philip, share an easy, breezy chemistry that enhances the song’s cheerful vibe and hints at a light-hearted, entertaining narrative.
The film also boasts a strong supporting cast including Prince Cecil, Anannayaa, Charith, Brahmaji, Raasi, Ajay, and Mast Ali in key roles.
Technically, Anumana Pakshi is backed by a skilled crew. Sunil Kumar Nama handles cinematography, while Sri Charan Pakala composes the music. JK Murthy serves as the art director, and Chota K Prasad takes charge of editing.
With its quirky premise, energetic musical kickoff, and Vimal Krishna’s signature comedic flair, Anumana Pakshi is shaping up to be a promising entertainer for both youth and family audiences. The release date is expected to be announced soon.
