Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s highly anticipated rural action drama Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, has already created ripples across the nation with its striking first-look posters and impactful glimpse. Mounted on a massive scale, the film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and prestigiously presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. The film features Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady.
The team is currently shooting a crucial, high-voltage action sequence, featuring Ram Charan in a raw and intense avatar. Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar, who plays a powerful role in the film, is also taking part in this schedule. A gigantic set designed by production designer Avinash Kolla has been erected at the Aluminium Factory, Hyderabad, exclusively for this action block.
Adding more weight to the sequence, the makers have brought in legendary stunt director Sham Kaushal, father of Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal, and the mastermind behind iconic action films like Dangal. He is supervising the entire fight sequence, while action choreographer Navakanth is executing the stunts. The team has roped in Sham Kaushal specifically because this episode is expected to be one of the most explosive highlights of the film, and they are shooting it on an exceptionally grand scale.

The film also features Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu Sharma in significant roles.
With a stellar technical lineup that includes Academy Award winner AR Rahman composing the music, celebrated cinematographer R. Rathnavelu handling the visuals, and National Award–winning editor Navin Nooli crafting the cut, Peddi stands tall as one of the most prestigious films in Indian cinema.
Peddi is gearing up for a massive pan-India theatrical release on March 27, 2026.
