Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ Shoot Wrapped; Grand Worldwide Release Locked for June 4
Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s much-anticipated rural action drama Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, has officially wrapped up its entire shooting schedule. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, and presented by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings, the film is being mounted on a grand scale. The makers have now locked June 4 as the official worldwide theatrical release date.
The release date poster packs a powerful punch, showcasing Ram Charan in a fierce and rugged avatar. Covered in blood, sweat, and dust, with a raw, primal roar, his intense look reflects a character shaped by struggle and chaos. The striking visual sets the tone for a hard-hitting, mass-loaded cinematic experience.
Strategically positioned at the tail end of the summer holiday season, the June 4 release is expected to draw strong footfalls across regions before the academic calendar resumes. Trade analysts are already calling it a well-calculated move that gives the film a solid box-office advantage nationwide.

The team recently wrapped up filming a lavish special song composed by A. R. Rahman, shot on an extravagant set in Hyderabad. This high-energy number is expected to be one of the film’s major highlights. Meanwhile, post-production work is progressing at a brisk pace.
Ram Charan has reportedly pushed his limits for Peddi, something evident in the film’s initial glimpses that showcased him in two strikingly different looks. His dedication extends to the dance sequences as well, promising electrifying performances that add to the film’s mass appeal.
The film features a strong ensemble cast, with Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. Veteran actors Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani will be seen in pivotal roles, adding depth and gravitas to the narrative.
On the technical front, the film is backed by top-tier talent, with R. Rathnavelu handling cinematography, Navin Nooli in charge of editing, and Avinash Kolla leading the production design.

Blending rural sports drama with intense action and strong emotional undercurrents, Peddi is gearing up for a grand pan-India release in multiple South Indian languages along with Hindi.
Producer Venkata Satish Kilaru and his team are planning an aggressive, nationwide promotional campaign to amplify the film’s reach and build massive pre-release buzz.
