Super Star Rajinikanth watched and praised Vetrimaaran’s film Viduthalai1. The film starring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles was released on 31 March 2023 and got a tremendous response from all quarters.

The film is based on the novel ‘Thunaivan‘ written by Jeya Mohan. The film’s Telugu version is releasing on 15 April 2023.
The film is releasing in two parts and the second part will be released soon. Ilayaraja handled the music and Velraj handled the cinematography for the project.
