On November 26, ‘Anubhavinchu Raja’ will be released in theatres. Raj Tarun discusses his role as a security guard, his affiliation with Annapurna Studios, his upcoming films, and more in this interview.
Bangaram is a character I had a lot of fun with. The movie was shot in Bhimavaram, which is a place where I enjoy living. While shooting for the entertainer, I ended up eating good food. I haven’t played a hyperactive character in a long time.
Playing a security guard in the film gave me a better understanding of the challenges of going through training for the job. There are security guards everywhere. Every morning and every evening, we see our guard’s face. It brightens our mood if the guard greets us with a pleasant expression. We’d be upset if it wasn’t the case.
This movie is going to be a fun show for the family audience. ‘Anubhavinchu Raja’ was never intended to coincide with Sankranthi. The writing department worked on the script to fine-tune it due to the lockdown. The formalities with the Censor were finished 45 days ago. Because it’s an entertainer, we were set on a theatrical release.
Apart from my persona, Posani garu, Sudarshan, and others have provided entertainment. This is my third time working with Gopi Sundar’s music. He has a close relationship with the director.
The film is set in a cockfight. Personally, I am not a fan of gambling. I enjoy working with animals, so shooting with the roosters for ‘Anubhavinchu Raja’ was a breeze.
