R. Narayana Murthy’s University Paper Leak Set for August 22 Release

R. Narayana Murthy’s “University Paper Leak” Set for August 22 Release

Veteran filmmaker and actor R. Narayana Murthy is back with another socially charged drama titled University (Paper Leak), releasing in theatres on August 22. The film is produced under the Sneha Chitra Pictures banner and directed by R. Narayana Murthy himself.

Ahead of its release, a press meet was held at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad. The event was attended by prominent personalities including Goreti Venkanna, Addanki Dayakar, Deshapathi Srinivas, Andesri, Jayaraj, Nandini Siddareddy, Prof. Khaseem, and several student union leaders. The speakers praised the film, stating that University (Paper Leak) is a must-watch not only for students but also for parents and teachers.

 R. Narayana Murthy said:

“The film features five powerful songs penned by the late revolutionary poet Gaddar, along with Jaladanki Sudhakar, Velpula Narayana, and Motapalukulu Ramesh.

The story revolves around the shocking and growing issue of paper leaks in our education system—especially in high-level recruitment exams like Group 1 and Group 2. When these leaks keep happening, one has to wonder: What is happening to our education system? What future do students have? What kind of lives are we offering to the unemployed?”

He went on to say:

“If those who taught us geometry are the ones orchestrating scams, and if our knowledge becomes wingless, what will happen to parents and teachers?

Paper leaks and copying are more dangerous than atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, more destructive than hydrogen bombs, torpedoes, or tsunamis.

Imagine if someone becomes a doctor by copying—will their patients survive? If such a person becomes an engineer, will the bridges they build stand? Education is the foundation of a society, and question paper leaks are destroying it from the roots.”

A Call for Nationalized Education

R. Narayana Murthy strongly advocated for the nationalization of education, emphasizing that education should be rescued from the clutches of private mafias and instead be strengthened through robust public systems.

“This film is a voice against academic corruption. University (Paper Leak) aims to awaken the nation and urge reform in the educational sector. We are proud to release it on August 22,” he concluded.
