As excitement builds for the release of Mr. Bachchan, producer TG Vishwa Prasad has offered intriguing details about the film. Starring the ever-popular Ravi Teja and directed by Harish Shankar, Mr. Bachchan is set to hit theatres on August 15, coinciding with Independence Day. Produced under the prestigious People Media Factory banner, the film is generating buzz for its rich commercial appeal and dynamic entertainment value.
An Exciting Collaboration
In a recent press conference, TG Vishwa Prasad shared his enthusiasm about the project. “This is our third film with Ravi Teja, and we’re thrilled to continue this collaboration,” Prasad said. “Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar make an exceptional team. Mr. Bachchan promises to deliver on all fronts—entertainment, mass appeal, and action. If you enjoyed Dhamaka, think of this as Dhamaka Plus. It’s a full-on mass entertainer.”
Prasad explained that the film’s release date was initially set for August 9 but had to be pushed to August 15 due to delays in completing the music. “August 15 was chosen because it’s a great date, especially with the long weekend. It also allowed us to clear the slot for Pushpa,” he added.
A Busy Release Date
The film will release alongside another major title, Double Smart. Prasad is optimistic about both films. “Having two big films on the same day isn’t an issue. Both movies have their strengths, and we believe both will do well. The long weekend will definitely work in our favour,” he noted.
Budget and Casting Decisions
On the topic of the film’s budget, Prasad assured that it has stayed within the planned limits. “We aimed to make Mr. Bachchan as grand as it should be, and we’ve managed that within our budget.
Regarding the casting of Bhagyashree Borse as the female lead, Prasad emphasized the director’s vision. Collaborating with Sunny Deol in Bollywood.
Future Collaborations and Music
When asked about future projects with Ravi Teja, Prasad expressed a desire to continue working together but didn’t specify any immediate plans. “While there are no specific plans at the moment, we look forward to collaborating with Ravi Teja on future projects,” he said.
Prasad also praised the film’s music, composed by Mickey J Meyer. “Mickey and Harish Shankar have a fantastic synergy. They’ve crafted a soundtrack that complements the film’s grandeur perfectly. The response to the music has been very positive,” he said.
Embracing New Technologies
On the topic of incorporating new technologies, Prasad revealed his interest in adopting innovative techniques. “We’re keen on bringing new technologies into our productions. We’ve already started incorporating some advanced methods,” he said.
Reflecting on the evolution of his production company, Prasad acknowledged that while the initial target of producing 100 films may have been ambitious, the company remains active and optimistic. “Currently, we have 15 films ready for release, with about ten more planned for next year. This lineup will continue for the next two to three years,” he said.
Upcoming Projects and Releases
Prasad provided updates on several ongoing and upcoming projects. Collaborating with Sunny Deol in Bollywood. We’re also working on a Kannada film with actor Ganesh, with a budget of 50 crores, and three more Kannada projects. In Telugu cinema, we have several films in development, including ones with Vishwak Sen and Anudeep. Additionally, we’re working on two projects in the US,” he said.
Prasad also mentioned that Viswam and Swag are ready for theatrical release, and five films are set for OTT distribution. Raja Saab filming is half done, aiming for the other half by the end of the year
