Prabhas Safe in Japan After Powerful Earthquake; Fans Breathe a Sigh of Relief
A massive earthquake, measuring between 7.5 and 7.6 on the Richter scale, struck off the northeastern coast of Japan, triggering tsunami warnings for Aomori, Iwate, and Hokkaido prefectures. As the news broke, concern quickly spread among Indian fans, especially for global star Prabhas, who is currently in Japan.
Prabhas and producer Shobu Yarlagadda are in the country for special premiere screenings of Baahubali: The Epic. The event reportedly went on smoothly, with the Rebel Star warmly interacting with Japanese fans. However, once reports of the earthquake went viral, fans began anxiously seeking updates on the actor’s safety.
Director Maruthi took to X to clarify the situation and calm the panic. “Spoke to Darling. He is not in Tokyo and doing safe. No worries,” he wrote. His message brought relief to fans worldwide, who are now hoping the star returns home soon.
Once Prabhas is back in India, shooting for his upcoming action entertainer Spirit will resume. He is also expected to kick-start pre-release promotions for his next film, The Raja Saab.
