Nithiin’s Alias Rukmini Announced with Intriguing Title Glimpse
After setting a high benchmark with the critically acclaimed COURT – State Vs A Nobody, Natural Star Nani’s Unanimous Productions is back with another promising project. Titled Alias Rukmini, the film stars Nithiin in the lead, is directed by Dhandora fame Murali Kanth Devasoth, and produced by Deepthi Ganta.
The makers unveiled an engaging title announcement video that immediately piques curiosity. It begins with Nani asking director Murali Kanth Devasoth to finally reveal the story that everyone has been talking about. The director replies that it is the story of Krishna, but the visuals unexpectedly shift to a series of books written by Rukmini. Their quirky romantic titles deepen the mystery, leaving viewers with more questions than answers.
Nani then echoes the audience’s curiosity by asking, “You told me it’s Krishna’s story. Then who is this Rukmini?” The suspense culminates with the introduction of Nithiin as Krishna, a mathematics teacher. In a calm yet impactful moment, he simply replies, “My wife,” instantly reframing everything that has been shown until then.
With its subtle storytelling, immersive presentation, striking visuals, and soothing background score, the title glimpse successfully builds intrigue around the film. Director Murali Kanth Devasoth, who impressed audiences with Dhandora, appears to have crafted another unique and thought-provoking story. Adding to the excitement is Nani’s support as presenter under the Unanimous Productions banner, raising expectations among movie lovers.
The film also features an impressive technical crew. Renowned cinematographer Jomon T. John ISC handles the visuals, while Vijai Bulganin composes the music. Avinash Kolla serves as the production designer, and Srujana Adusumilli is in charge of editing.
Alias Rukmini was officially launched today, with regular shooting scheduled to commence in the coming days. The intriguing first glimpse has already generated strong buzz, making the film one of the most anticipated upcoming projects from Nithiin and Nani’s production house.
