Nikhil’s Pan-India Magnum Opus Swayambhu Poster Released on His Birthday, Teaser Coming Soon
After earning nationwide acclaim with the Pan-India blockbuster Karthikeya 2, Unik Star Nikhil is all set to make waves again with his landmark 20th film, Swayambhu. A grand historical action epic, Swayambhu is currently in production and promises to present Nikhil in a completely new avatar — as a legendary warrior.
Directed by Bharat Krishnamachari, the film blends intense drama, spectacular visuals, and deep cultural roots. It is being produced on a massive scale by Bhuvan and Sreekar under Pixel Studios, with Tagore Madhu presenting the project. Crafted with top-tier production values and a strong Pan-India vision, Swayambhu is poised to be a cinematic spectacle.
To mark Nikhil’s birthday, the makers unveiled a striking new poster featuring the powerful duo — Nikhil and Samyuktha — set against a war-torn backdrop. The highlight of the poster is the introduction of the Sengol, an ancient sceptre symbolizing power and righteousness.
Nikhil appears fierce and commanding, sword in hand, exuding the aura of a battle-hardened hero. Beside him, Samyuktha stands poised with a bow and arrow, embodying strength and readiness. The grandeur of the poster reflects the film’s epic scale, while the Sengol in the background hints at deep historical and symbolic resonance.
The Sengol is not just a relic of the past; it holds immense cultural and spiritual significance. Historically, it represented the transfer of righteous power, with Lord Rama himself said to have received it as a symbol of just rule. More recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reinstated its relevance by installing the Sengol near the Speaker’s seat in the new Parliament, honoring India’s ancient traditions.
