Naveen Yadav Hosts Mass Seemantham for 2,000 Women
Grandly Organised Mass Seemantham and Annaprasana Celebrations
A grand mass Seemantham (baby shower) and Annaprasana ceremony was organised in Jubilee Hills constituency as part of the Poshanahar Week celebrations. The event was jointly organised by Navayuva Nirmaan organisation and the Congress Party at Mohammed Function Hall in Yousufguda, under the leadership of Jubilee Hills MLA V. Naveen Yadav.
Around 2,000 pregnant women and a large number of children participated in the celebrations, turning the venue into a festive atmosphere.
Extending his warm wishes for the health, happiness and well-being of the expectant mothers, MLA Naveen Yadav presented them with sarees, traditional gifts, turmeric and kumkum as a gesture of affection from their parental home. The Seemantham ceremony was conducted on a grand scale for the participating women.
The women expressed their happiness and appreciation for the initiative, stating that Naveen Yadav had demonstrated his affection and support for women from underprivileged families by standing by them like a caring elder brother. The programme was also appreciated for bringing a traditional family celebration to women who may not have the means to organise such events themselves.
The Annaprasana ceremony, marking the auspicious occasion when a child tastes solid food for the first time, was also conducted during the event. Telangana Planning Commission Vice-Chairperson Gadwal Vijayalakshmi and MLA V. Naveen Yadav jointly performed the ceremony and blessed the children, wishing them good health, happiness and a bright future.

Several prominent Congress leaders and public representatives attended the programme, including TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Seethakka, Ajharuddin, Planning Commission Vice-Chairperson Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, minority leader Faheem Qureshi, MP Anil Kumar Yadav, former MP Madhu Yaskhi Goud, MLC Addanki Dayakar, MLAs Danam Nagender, Uttam Padmavathi Reddy, Chittam Parnika Reddy and Yashaswini Reddy, Telangana Social Media President Sama Ram Mohan Reddy, Gaddar Vennela, Kalva Sujatha, Kothakota Seetha Dayakar Reddy, Deepak John, Saritha Tirupathaiah, Chitrapuri Colony President Vallabhaneni Anil, along with several other Congress leaders and party workers.
With thousands of women and children taking part, the event was celebrated with great enthusiasm and traditional fervour. The organisers highlighted the importance of supporting expectant mothers and children through community-oriented welfare initiatives.
