Nara Rohith’s Sundarakanda Set for August 27 Release
Marking a major milestone in his career, actor Nara Rohith returns with his 20th film titled ‘Sundarakanda’, a refreshing slice-of-life entertainer directed by debutant Venkatesh Nimmalapudi. Produced by Santhosh Chinnapolla, Gowtham Reddy, and Rakesh Mahankalli under the banner of Sandeep Picture Palace (SPP), the film is generating strong buzz with its unique storyline and engaging teaser.
As a special treat on the occasion of Nara Rohith’s birthday, the team has officially announced the film’s worldwide theatrical release date — August 27th, coinciding with the festive occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. With the mid-week release falling on a Wednesday, Sundarakanda is poised to take full advantage of the extended holiday weekend.
The recently unveiled release poster captures the essence of the film, featuring Nara Rohith’s dual romantic timelines. One showcases the innocence of young love with Sridevi Vijaykumar, while the other hints at a mature, second-chance romance with Vriti Vaghani, promising a heartfelt narrative that spans generations.
The teaser has already offered a glimpse of Nara Rohith in the role of a witty and charming middle-aged bachelor, striking a chord with audiences through its humor and emotional depth.
On the musical front, Leon James is composing the soundtrack, and the first single ‘Bahusa Bahusa’, sung by Sid Sriram, has emerged as a chartbuster. The film boasts top-notch technical contributions with Pradeep M Varma handling cinematography, Rohan Chillale as the editor, and Rajesh Pentakota managing the art direction. Sundeep serves as the executive producer.
With just a month to go, the makers are gearing up to kick off full-scale promotional activities to build momentum and excitement around the release.
