Charming Star Sharwanand’s latest outing, Nari Nari Naduma Murari, has hit the big screens amid decent expectations. The buzz surrounding the film is largely due to director Ram Abbaraju, who previously scored a solid success with the comedy entertainer Samajavaragamana. Does Sharwanand’s new film live up to the hype? Let’s find out.

What Is the Film About?
Gautham (Sharwanand), a successful architect, is deeply in love with Nitya (Sakshi Vaidya). However, her father Ramalingaiah (Sampath Raj) believes their relationship lacks “fire” because the couple never quarrels. Though he eventually agrees to the marriage, he insists that the wedding be held at a registrar office.

Gautham strongly opposes this idea due to a mysterious personal connection with that place from his past. Despite his best efforts to resolve the issue amicably, things spiral out of control. Who is Dia (Samyuktha), and how is she linked to Gautham’s past? Was Gautham previously in love—or even married? Does Nitya know the truth? The film slowly unravels these answers through a series of comedic and dramatic situations.

Performances
Sharwanand steps comfortably into a full-fledged comedy-driven role and delivers a relaxed, entertaining performance. His natural dialogue delivery, expressive reactions, and timing work in the film’s favour. Appearing in two distinct avatars, he convincingly handles both shades.

Naresh is undoubtedly the film’s biggest strength. He steals the show with his impeccable comic timing and screen presence, elevating even routine scenes. His dialogues not only annoy the on-screen characters but also evoke consistent laughter from the audience.

Sakshi Vaidya looks charming and fits her role well, while Samyuktha leaves a pleasant impression within her limited screen space. Supporting actors like Sudhakar and Vennela Kishore contribute effectively to the humour in their respective portions.

Analysis
The film follows a very familiar and predictable narrative structure, making it easy to guess the turns well in advance. While comedy is infused generously and works in parts, the story itself often takes a back seat.

The female characters, in particular, could have been written with more emotional depth. Director Ram Abbaraju seems focused on keeping the narrative light, avoiding intense emotional beats. However, a stronger script could have struck a better balance between humour and heartfelt moments.

Additionally, actors such as Srikanth Aiyengar and Vennela Kishore, who shined in Samajavaragamana, are underutilised here, which feels like a missed opportunity given the expectations.

Music and Technical Aspects
Ram Abbaraju’s intention to prioritise humour over emotion is evident, but even a comedy entertainer needs a basic emotional connect, which occasionally feels lacking. The humour doesn’t land consistently, and tighter writing could have enhanced the overall impact.

Cinematography by Yuvaraj and Gnansekhar VS is pleasant and visually appealing. Editing is neat and keeps the runtime under control. Vishal Chandrasekhar’s background score serves its purpose, but the songs fail to leave a lasting impression. Production values are decent and in line with the film’s tone.

Verdict
Overall, Nari Nari Naduma Murari turns out to be a reasonably engaging festive entertainer. Sharwanand delivers a comfortable and enjoyable performance, while Sakshi Vaidya and Samyuktha do well within their limited scope. Naresh emerges as the film’s standout performer, lifting several scenes with his brilliant comic timing.

Though the narrative feels routine in parts and the emotional depth could have been stronger, the film offers enough humour to keep the audience entertained. It works as a light, easy-watch Sankranthi entertainer, best enjoyed without high expectations.
