Your role in the film—what can you tell us about it?
“It’s extremely exciting. After almost ten years, I am returning to the big screen. In the film, I play the character Janani—a sweet, caring girl blessed by Akhanda himself. Whenever Janani’s life is in danger, Akhanda appears for her. The character is very important to the story.”
After Bajrangi Bhaijaan, did you receive many offers?
“Yes, I received several roles over the years, but I waited for the right one. That’s when Akhanda 2 came to me. Getting the opportunity to act alongside the legendary Nandamuri Balakrishna garu is a huge blessing. This is the kind of role I was waiting for.”
Have you watched Balakrishna garu’s films?
“Yes! I’ve watched Bhagavanth Kesari, Veera Simha Reddy, Dacoit Maharaj, Akhanda and many others. I loved Akhanda—it was stunning. Boyapati sir’s direction is amazing.”

How was your experience working with Balakrishna garu?
“He is very cool and extremely caring. At first, I was nervous to act with such a legendary actor, but he made me feel very comfortable. He treated me like a family member and encouraged me throughout. His energy is unbelievable—he truly is unstoppable.”
What challenges did you face during the shoot?
“We shot in locations where temperatures were in minus degrees! Filming in such cold weather was very challenging. I also performed action stunts in this film, which was another exciting challenge.”
What did you do during the gap after Bajrangi Bhaijaan?
“I focused on my studies and learned Kathak. I wanted to prepare myself and wait for the right opportunity—and I feel lucky that Akhanda 2 came at the perfect time.”
How does it feel to enter the Telugu film industry?
“I’m very happy. My second film itself is a Telugu film, and that too with a legendary actor—it feels incredible.”
How was working with Boyapati Sreenu garu?
“Boyapati sir took great care of me. If I felt nervous on set, he always encouraged me and said, ‘You can definitely do it.’ After every shot, he appreciated my performance. His support gave me a lot of confidence. I feel fortunate that he chose me for the role of Janani.”
Do you have fond memories of working with Salman Khan?
“Of course! I have beautiful memories with Salman sir. We used to play table tennis and have a lot of fun. Similarly, I had great fun moments with Balayya garu too. He would jokingly tell me to drink kashayam (herbal drink) for energy, but I don’t like ginger at all! (laughs) He treated me just like a family member.”
Who are your favorite Telugu stars?
“Balayya garu, Allu Arjun garu, and Prabhas garu.”
What kind of roles and directors do you want to work with in the future?
“I would love to act in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film—he presents his heroines so beautifully. I want to do all kinds of genres, and I hope to play strong lead roles in great combinations. I also want to take on challenging characters.”
