Director Nandini Reddy said – I used to go to other people’s movie events as a guest, but I come to Naveen’s even as a fan. I loved his performance. Director Nag Ashwin said – I knew Naveen for a long time. When I was an assistant director under Shekhar Kammula, Naveen used to come for auditions. I am happy to be a guest at his film success meet today. Comedy is Naveen’s only strength. But he can do anything be it action, villain, comedy, emotion. I Wish him to do more such versatile roles. He cried sometimes with emotional scenes in this movie. Naveen carried the promotion of this movie on his shoulders and made it reach such an audience today. There is a lot to be said about the journey of ‘Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty’. Post production delays, postponement of the movie release date, so many problems were faced. As soon as we announced the date of September 7, we got to know that a big Hindi movie is coming on the same date. Then we got very tensed. We have cross-checked many times that the expected date is correct. Since its premiere in Dallas on 7th of this month, now till 16th, the movie is showing house full collections everywhere.
He added, “I would like to thank the Telugu audience for giving us such a big hit amidst many difficulties. This was possible with the word of mouth of a good movie. Acting with Anushka was a happy experience. Today, the chemistry between our pair is good and we have shown a good love story. We wondered how they would accept the new point.
