Megastar Chiranjeevi Pays a Heartfelt Tribute to Padma Shri Awardees Murali Mohan & Rajendra Prasad
Tollywood witnessed a proud and emotional moment on Republic Day as veteran actors Murali Mohan and Rajendra Prasad were conferred with the prestigious Padma Shri, joining five other distinguished personalities from the Telugu states. Adding immense warmth to the celebration, Megastar Chiranjeevi personally visited their residences to congratulate them on this remarkable national honour.
Chiranjeevi draped the awardees with traditional shawls, shared heartfelt wishes, and described their recognition as a defining milestone for Telugu cinema on the national stage. A Padma Bhushan recipient in 2006 and recently honoured with the Padma Vibhushan in 2024, Chiranjeevi termed the occasion a truly joyous one for the entire film fraternity. He also took to social media to extend his congratulations to all Padma awardees of 2026, spanning cinema, sports, medicine, and other fields.
