“Matka” Set to Rock Theatres on November 14 – Varun Tej at the Grand Pre-Release Event
Mega Prince Varun Tej’s much-awaited film Matka is all set to release on November 14. Directed by Karuna Kumar, the film is produced by Dr. Vijayender Reddy Tigala and Rajani Talluri under the banners of Vair Entertainments and SRT Entertainments, with a high-budget production. Meenakshi Chaudhary and Nora Fatehi are the leading actresses. The teaser and trailer of the movie have already created a huge buzz, and the album, composed by star music director GV Prakash Kumar, has become a chartbuster. The audience is eagerly awaiting the release of Matka, and it will hit theatres on November 14.
The pre-release event in Visakhapatnam was a grand affair, with a massive turnout of fans, making it a truly spectacular celebration.

“Hello, everyone. A huge thank you to all the viewers and fans who have supported us so wonderfully by attending this event. This story is about Vasu, a young man who fled Burma and came to Visakhapatnam as a refugee. Karthikeya plays the character of young Vasu, and he did a fantastic job. He has a bright future ahead of him. Avinash has done a great job as my younger brother in this film, and I wish him all the best. Thanks to Meenakshi Chaudhary, Nora Fatehi, John Vijay, Naveen Chandra, Satya Rajesh, and everyone involved in the film. Naveen Chandra is a fantastic actor.
Thanks to DOP Kishore for his amazing work. You’ll see after the movie releases how his visuals will captivate everyone. Art Director Kiran created a brilliant set for Visakhapatnam, and he is a huge asset to this film. I thank the editing team, the direction team, and the production team. When we set out to make a mass movie, Karuna Kumar came to us with the script for Matka. He is an amazing director with a great sense of sensibility. It was truly a privilege to work with him, and he really brought out the actor in me. Working with him was an incredible experience, and after the release, everyone will talk about his work.

Visakhapatnam has a rich history, and I wanted to show a part of that history in this film. Starting from a small fishing village, Visakhapatnam has grown into a powerful hub on the global map. Many people have contributed to its growth, and this film shows a part of that story.
Matka is a fictional story based on real events. In Visakhapatnam, back in the day, there were nightclubs and cabarets, and I wanted to portray the achievements of those times. When I first narrated the story to Varun, he immediately gave his consent, and now the film is coming to you on November 14.
