Mass Ka Das Vishwaksen’s Global Slasher Film #CULT Teaser Unleashed — A Chilling Descent into Violent Madness

Mass Ka Das Vishwak Sen is entering one of the most daring and uncompromising phases of his career. After showcasing his multi-dimensional prowess in films like Falaknuma Das and Das Ka Dhamki—where he seamlessly balanced acting, writing, and direction—Vishwaksen now pushes the envelope further with his bold new venture, #CULT.

Produced by Sandeep Kakarala under the banners of Tarak Cinemas and Vanmaye Creations, #CULT is entirely driven by Vishwaksen’s creative vision, with him handling the story, screenplay, and direction. Touted as India’s first true slasher film and inspired by disturbing real-life incidents, the film promises a raw, ruthless, and uncompromising cinematic experience—far removed from the familiar comforts of mainstream Indian cinema.

After igniting curiosity with a ferocious first-look poster that showcased Vishwaksen in a blood-soaked, menacing avatar, the makers have now unveiled the much-anticipated teaser—and it doesn’t hold back.

A Party Turns into a Nightmare

The story follows a group of friends who arrive in Goa hoping for the time of their lives. Their plans hit a roadblock when they are denied entry into a pub for being stags. Just as the night seems ruined, a twist of fate lands them exclusive Cult Passes to a mysterious party. What begins as a dream-like escape soon spirals into terror when the host introduces a deadly game—where survival is the only rule.

As guests are hunted down one by one with no escape in sight, the narrative takes a darker turn with the arrival of the Game Master—a figure more twisted and unpredictable than anyone imagined. Is he a saviour, or an even deadlier force?

Brutal, Bold, and Unapologetic

With #CULT, Vishwaksen introduces a genre rarely explored in Indian cinema—and does so with fearless conviction. The teaser sets a deceptive youthful tone before plunging headfirst into chaos, bloodshed, and psychological horror. The writing and direction reflect a sharp understanding of tension, pacing, and shock value, resulting in an edgy and immersive experience.

Featuring a largely young cast with nearly 100 newcomers, the performances feel organic and high on energy. Vishwaksen’s own entry towards the climax packs a powerful punch—his ruthless screen presence and violent portrayal significantly elevate the impact.

Strong Ensemble & Stellar Technical Crew

The film boasts a dynamic ensemble cast including Gayatri Bharadwaj, Tarak Ponnappa, Murali Sharma, Srikanth Iyengar, Karthikeya, Anirudh Bhaskar, EZY, Yagnya Turlapati, Kabeer Bhartiya, Vishak Nair, and Chepuri Vivek, each bringing a distinct energy to the narrative.

Backing Vishwaksen’s ambitious vision is a formidable technical team. Dialogues are written by Tharun Bhascker, known for his sharp, realistic touch. Acclaimed composer Ravi Basrur delivers a high-octane and haunting background score. Cinematographer Arvind Vishwanathan, editor Ravi Teja Girijala, and production designer Arvind Mule further elevate the film’s visual intensity and production scale. The teaser reflects lavish, polished production values throughout.
