Mark Shankar Undergoing Medical Tests in Singapore Hospital
Singapore, April 9, 2025 — Mark Shankar, the younger son of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Singapore. Following a health emergency, Pawan Kalyan traveled from Hyderabad to Singapore last night and headed straight to the hospital to be by his son’s side.
According to reports, Mark sustained burn injuries on his hands and legs and also suffered from smoke inhalation, leading to respiratory complications. He was immediately admitted to the hospital’s emergency ward, where a team of doctors began treatment.
Pawan Kalyan interacted with the attending doctors and hospital officials to understand the nature of the treatment and his son’s condition. Medical experts revealed that while Mark is showing signs of recovery, they are conducting a series of tests to assess the impact of the smoke on his lungs and ensure no long-term complications arise.
As per Indian Standard Time, Mark was moved from the emergency ward to a private room on Wednesday morning. Doctors have stated that he will remain under close medical supervision for the next three days, during which further evaluations will be carried out.
