Malli Pelli Movie Review: Naresh Hilariously Depicts His Life Story!
Malli Pelli Movie Review
Director: MS Raju
Cast: VK Naresh, Pavitra Lokesh, Sarath Babu, Jayasudha, Vanitha Vijaykumar, Annapurnamma
Malli Pelli Introduction:
The movie, as has been revealed since the beginning, is based on the real-life events of VK Naresh. His life as a veteran actor, how he met his estranged third wife Ramya Raghupathi, and their strained relationship. Naresh’s meet-up with Pavitra Lokesh and their relationship, have been discussed in detail but rather in a funny way.
Malli Pelli Story:
A popular actor Narendra (VK Naresh) who has done about 350 films in the industry and is wealthy, experiences distress in his personal life with his third wife Soumya Sethupathi (Vanitha Vijaykumar). His lack of peace of mind leads him to take an interest in Kannada actress Pavitra Lokesh, whom he meets on one of his film’s sets. The duo slowly starts developing feelings for each other albeit being married to different partners. How they swim through the situations and what difficulties they face, are shown in the movie.
Technical Aspects
Barring from crisp editing and passing through songs, the production values of the film are quite good. Naresh, who produced the movie under his Vijaya Krishna Movies banner spent lavishly to make everything look perfect. The movie is technically sound and visually rich. Director MS Raju admirably helmed the movie without causing many complexities due to real-life issues.
Performances
The movie is entirely VK Naresh’s one-man show and being his story, he blends in without inhibitions and fits like a glove. The same applies to Pavitra Lokesh. All the other actors and actresses in the movie have done their job within their limits, adequately. Veteran Sarath Babu, who breathed his last a few days ago, is part of the movie, which is his last appearance. Annapurnamma and Vanitha Vijaykumar brought life to the characters they portrayed.
Positives
VK Naresh & Pavitra Lokesh’s Chemistry

Verdict
Malli Pelli is worth a watch for people and film buffs who are interested in the lives of VK Naresh and Pavitra Lokesh. The film’s cinematic aspects and technicalities are neat. Watch it away on the screens for one time if you have nothing else to do this weekend.
