‘Maa Chinni Shiva’ Devotional Song Launched by Vijayendra Prasad

The devotional video song ‘Maa Chinni Shiva’, composed and sung by popular music director M.M. Sreelekha, was launched on Sunday in Hyderabad in a grand manner. Renowned writer Vijayendra Prasad attended the event as the chief guest and officially unveiled the song. The project is produced by G. Mani Lakshman Rao, with lyrics by Bharati Babu. Sriram Kangatala handled DOP, editing and direction responsibilities.

Producer G. Mani Lakshman Rao said:

“I sincerely thank Vijayendra Prasad garu for gracing the event and launching Maa Chinni Shiva. M.M. Sreelekha garu composed a wonderful tune and rendered it beautifully. I am grateful to everyone who supported us in bringing this devotional song to audiences on such a grand scale. I hope listeners embrace the song and feel spiritually uplifted.”

Music Director M.M. Sreelekha shared:

“I have composed Shiva devotional songs in the past as well. Shiva songs naturally carry a powerful and vibrant energy. When producer Mani Lakshman Rao garu narrated this concept, I felt it was refreshing and emotional. The story revolves around a mother who loses her child and begins to see Shiva in him while searching for him. How Lord Shiva reveals his divine form in that moment is the soul of the song.
The producer shot the video in multiple beautiful locations without compromising on quality and is promoting it well too. Some of my earlier songs did not reach audiences due to lack of promotion, but I’m happy that this one is being presented with sincerity. I feel blessed that the song is being launched by my uncle, Vijayendra Prasad garu.”

Writer Vijayendra Prasad said:

“The composition is excellent, and Sreelekha has sung it beautifully. Bharati Babu wrote the lyrics with great devotion and depth. I bless the entire team of Maa Chinni Shiva and wish them success. Just like we often say—your child is never truly lost—there is always divine guidance. Even at Mahesh Babu’s Varanasi event for his recent film, Rajamouli and Priyanka Chopra echoed similar thoughts. My wishes to the whole team.”

Lyricist Bharati Babu expressed:

“Vijayendra Prasad garu is my guru. I have written songs for several of his films, and I’ve also worked with Sreelekha garu many times. I believe Maa Chinni Shiva will evoke deeper devotion and spiritual emotion among the listeners.”

Actress Priya Jasper shared:

Director Ram Ganapathi added:

“In the past, I directed the film Rajayogam. Producer Mani Lakshman Rao garu is a devoted worshipper of Goddess Amma and spreads spiritual messages through the Nava Bala YouTube channel. He is committed to producing devotional songs and films every year. As part of that vision, Maa Chinni Shiva was created. I contributed to some parts of the picturization as well. The song’s director, Sriram Kangotala, could not attend as he was away on work.”
