“Killer” Promises to Redefine Sci-Fi in Telugu Cinema
Director Suku Poorvaj Speaks at the Grand ‘Fire and Ice’ Song Launch
The upcoming science-fiction thriller “Killer”, starring Jyothi Poorvaj, Poorvaj, and Manish Gilada in lead roles, is gearing up to offer audiences a bold and futuristic cinematic experience. The film also features Chandrakant Kollu, Vishal Raj, Archana Ananth, Gautham Chakradhar Koppishetti, and others in important roles.
Backed by Think Cinema and AU & I Studios, “Killer” is produced by Poorvaj and Padmanabha Reddy A., and presented by Urveesh Poorvaj. Directed by Poorvaj himself, the team unveiled the film’s latest track ‘Fire and Ice’ today in Hyderabad, drawing strong attention from film circles.
Action Choreographer Raj Kumar
“Jyothi garu told us she had no experience in action. We planned a sequence with 15 fighters that usually takes hours to pull off. But she completed her entire action block in just 30 minutes—we were stunned! Her action scenes will definitely wow audiences.”
Actor Seetharam
“Director Poorvaj is incredibly hardworking. We’ve known Jyothi on television, and now she is ready to impress everyone on the big screen. Audiences will be pleasantly surprised by what ‘Killer’ has in store.”
Actor Manish Gilada
“I came into this project like a wild-card entry. Poorvaj is presenting my villain role in a completely new dimension. The visuals are fantastic, and the audience is going to enjoy this film thoroughly.”
Actor Vishal Raj
“Acting alongside Jyothi Poorvaj garu made me very happy—she delivered a powerful performance. You must watch the film just for her. Poorvaj garu gives actors total creative freedom, making it easy to work with him. After watching the song here, I’m certain he’s going to make even bigger films.”
Actor Chandu
“‘Killer’ delivers content never seen before in Telugu cinema. Jyothi garu’s acting range will shock everyone. I once interviewed Poorvaj garu, and that conversation led him to cast me in three of his four films. I’m grateful to him. This film will establish me as Actor Chandu.”
Actor Gautham Chakradhar
“My mother always dreamed of seeing me on the big screen, and that dream is coming true with this film. ‘Killer’ has stunning VFX and intense action. You can imagine the hard work behind it. Poorvaj garu crafted a film that will resonate with all kinds of audiences.”
Producer Padmanabha Reddy A.
“Some moments make you feel proud—introducing Poorvaj is one of them. He is loyal to the people who started their journey with him. When we began this film, we never expected such an extraordinary output. Just like the duality of ‘Fire and Ice,’ the visuals, songs, and performances in ‘Killer’ are astonishing. You will witness truly killer performances.”
Heroine Jyothi Poorvaj
“I wanted to become a doctor but ended up in the IT field, later gaining popularity through serials, and now stepping into films as a heroine. Nothing was planned—it all just happened. I always wanted to do an action film with strong stunt sequences and told Poorvaj garu about it.
While we worked on ‘Master Piece,’ he wrote the script of ‘Killer.’ When I first read it, I wondered how we could make such a massive film. But he turned it into reality with the support of friends and well-wishers.
My team feels I performed exceptionally well, and all I did was follow Poorvaj’s vision. We are bringing fresh, unique content to the audience. Please keep supporting us.”
Director Poorvaj
“Telugu cinema is evolving rapidly, and ‘Killer’ is another bold attempt that will win audience appreciation. Once the trailer is out, it will be the talk of the industry.
Jyothi Poorvaj plays five distinct roles—a Spy, a Vampire, Super She, a Terrorist, and Raksha Rai—and she has done absolute justice to all of them. We have revealed only a few glimpses so far, and the response has been tremendous.
The story revolves around Artificial Intelligence, and all five characters are interconnected through this futuristic concept. What you’ve seen in the song and glimpses is only 3% of the total experience. The rest is full of surprises.
The idea for ‘Killer’ came while working on ‘Master Piece,’ and producer Padmanabha Reddy garu, along with the entire team, supported me immensely.”
