“It’s Complicated” is a very special movie in my career- Siddhu Jonnalagadda
I’m excited to see how the audience reacts in theaters on February 14th: Star Boy Siddhu Jonnalagadda
Star Boy Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s romantic comedy movie Krishna and His Leela was released directly on OTT during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and became an instant hit. Directed by Ravikant Perepu and produced by Rana Daggubati and Sanjay Reddy, the film presented a refreshing take on a love story. Starring Shraddha Srinath, Seerat Kapoor, and Shalini Vadnikatti in key roles, the popular movie is now set to hit theaters on Valentine’s Day. Originally released only on digital platforms, the film is making a theatrical debut with a twist on February 14th under the new title It’s Complicated. This fresh title not only adds more intrigue but also perfectly aligns with the film’s content. The announcement video has already gone viral, and the makers recently held a press meet.
Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s Thoughts
During the press meet, Siddhu Jonnalagadda shared his excitement:
“It’s Complicated is a very special film for me. Due to the pandemic, we couldn’t release it in theaters, and I always wondered how it would have been received on the big screen. As an actor, I learned a lot during this journey. Collaborating with Ravi (Ravikant Perepu) is always a new experience. Both Ravi and I regretted not being able to bring this film to theaters. Fans even sent messages to Ravi on social media, asking for a theatrical release. Seeing those messages, I also felt it would be great to bring it back to theaters. When I mentioned it to Rana, he quickly planned the release. Now, I’m excited to see how audiences react in theaters. The film feels even more relevant today than it did back then.”
Rana Daggubati’s Take
Rana Daggubati humorously added, “It’s Complicated—everyone has some complications in their life. In my life, director Ravikant came first, then Siddhu, both being ‘complicated’ (laughs). The story Ravikant narrated felt very close to the heart. It’s something that happens in everyone’s life, but no one talks about it. Releasing this movie in theaters is a great joy. Honestly, I wanted to do another movie with Siddhu and Ravikant, but they insisted on releasing this one in theaters first. So, I had no other option but to make it happen! (laughs). We’re releasing this movie with a lot of love, and its theme is very fresh. I’m really excited to see the audience’s reaction on the big screen.”
Director Ravikant Perepu’s Comments
Director Ravikant Perepu expressed his happiness:
“I’m thrilled that It’s Complicated is finally coming to theaters. Siddhu has been the biggest support for this film. Only someone like Rana can produce such movies. I have learned a lot during this journey.”
Lead Actresses’ Excitement
Shraddha Srinath shared, “This is a big moment for us. Releasing the movie in theaters is very exciting. It’s a special film, and I hope everyone enjoys watching it on the big screen.”
Seerat Kapoor added, “This is a very special film with a unique script and screenplay. We couldn’t release it in theaters during the pandemic, but now, bringing it to the big screen feels amazing. This is a memorable experience, and the film has a magical quality. I urge everyone to watch and enjoy it in theaters!”
