“I’ll be coming before the audience soon with more good movies” – Burning Star Sampoornesh Babu at the 11th Anniversary Press Meet of Hrudaya Kaleyam
Burning Star Sampoornesh Babu earned the admiration of audiences with the movie Hrudaya Kaleyam. Directed by Sai Rajesh, the film was released 11 years ago and became a super hit. On the occasion of the 11th anniversary of the movie, a special event was organized in Hyderabad, where hero Sampoornesh Babu interacted with media friends.
Speaking at the event, Burning Star Sampoornesh Babu said:
“Hundreds of people try to fulfill their dream of making it in cinema. Among them, I consider myself lucky to have received an opportunity and gained recognition. I came from a small village as Narasimha Chari, and it was Sai Rajesh anna who transformed me into Sampoornesh Babu with Hrudaya Kaleyam. I will always be indebted to him. Sai Rajesh anna and his Amrutha Productions have always stood by me. He promised to make a movie with me again, even if it takes some time.
During the release of Hrudaya Kaleyam, I received a lot of recognition due to a tweet by director Rajamouli garu. Whenever we meet, he warmly asks, ‘How are you, Sampu?’ If I ever get a chance to act in his film, what more could I ask for?
At the time of Hrudaya Kaleyam, Sundeep Kishan anna, Maruthi garu, and Tammareddy Bharadwaja garu offered great support. Even after 11 years, it’s heartening that audiences still talk about Hrudaya Kaleyam. Over these 11 years, I have acted in several movies as both a hero and a character artist.
Soon, I will be coming before you with a movie called Sodharaa, which is releasing on the 25th of this month. Two more films are lined up for release. Along with comedy, I also want to take up serious characters. When I came out of Bigg Boss, many people told me it would’ve been better if I stayed longer in the show. But my lifestyle didn’t match with the environment there, so I couldn’t stay.
It brings me great satisfaction to donate a portion of my earnings to charity. I’m not very active on social media, and I don’t take criticism seriously. There was a time when I wondered if I’d ever ride in a car, and now, thanks to Hrudaya Kaleyam and the opportunity given by Sai Rajesh anna, I’ve traveled in flights. I’ll be coming before the audience soon with many more good movies,” he said.
