I play an urbane vlogger in Rama Banam, says Dimple Hayati

Dimple Hayathi of Khiladi fame has her fingers crossed as her first film of the year ‘Rama Banam’ is set to hit the screens globally on May 5.
Dimple is playing the female lead alongside Gopichand. The film is directed by Sriwass and is the third film in the successful combination of Gopichand and Sriwass.
In an interview during the promotion of the film, Dimple spoke about her journey in the film industry and what kind of roles she would like to play.
I signed ‘Rama Banam’ even before Khiladi was released. Unlike in Khiladi, I play a role of an urbane vlogger in Rama Banam. I learned to imitative vloggers by observing popular bloggers around us.
In real life, I’m not social media-savvy but in the movie, I play a YouTube-savvy character.
Director Sriwass helped me better my expressions and act naturally in the movie. He would ask me to frequently observe Jagapathi Babu and Khushbu to hone my acting skills. Shriwass is like family to me.
Gopichand is a calm and composed person always. He is in contrast to Ravi Teja who was always energetic on the sets.

It was fun working with Khushbu Sundar, Jagapathi Babu, Ali, Vennela Kishore, and several other senior actors. Working under People Media Factor’s TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibotla helped me understand how sweet people they are.
About her future projects, Dimple said she has a release coming up in Tamil soon. and a Telugu project with a star hero is going to be announced soon.
