Hyderabad: The flyover at OYC junction started on Tuesday

Hyderabad: A three-lane one-way flyover at Owaisi Junction was inaugurated here on Tuesday, adding another facility to tackle traffic problems in the old town.

Under the State Government’s Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP) Rs. The flyover is 1.36 km long and 12 m wide at an estimated cost of Rs 63 crore.

Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Minister KT Rama Rao, Home Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali, Education Minister Sabita Indrareddy, Musi Riverfront Development Corporation Limited (MRDCL) Chairman Sudhir Reddy, Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, Chandrayangutta MLA Akshibaru and other MLAs were present on the occasion.

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation officials said the flyover would reduce traffic congestion at two congested areas in Chandrayangutta, namely OYC Hospital Junction and Midhani Junction.

This flyover will enable traffic coming from Midhani Junction and towards Owaisi Hospital Junction.
