GV Prakash Kumar’s ‘Happy Raj’ Telugu Release on March 27
Mythri Movie Makers, one of India’s leading production houses, continues to strengthen its presence in film distribution by bringing exciting content to Telugu audiences from across industries. Expanding its distribution slate, its distribution arm Mythri Movie Distributors LLP has officially announced the Telugu release of Happy Raj.
The film stars composer-turned-actor GV Prakash Kumar in the lead role. It is directed by Maria Raja Elanchezian and produced by Jaivarda under the banner of Beyond Pictures.
The female lead is Sri Gouri Priya Reddy, who gained recognition through the popular MAD series and has been steadily building a strong presence in both Telugu and Tamil cinema with promising projects.
The film has already generated positive buzz in Tamil, with its promotional material receiving an encouraging response. Meanwhile, the Telugu promotions have kicked off with the release of a striking first-look poster that instantly grabs attention with its vibrant colours, quirky tone, and mass appeal. Set against a neon-lit street drenched in bold pink and purple hues, the poster delivers a visually stylish vibe.
In the poster, GV Prakash Kumar makes a charismatic entry stepping out of a brightly lit auto-rickshaw with confident swagger. Sporting a black suit, open-collar shirt, and sunglasses, he effortlessly blends elegance with street-smart charm, making the first look both stylish and memorable.
The film also features a strong supporting cast including Abbas, George Maryan, Geetha Kailasam, and Prathana Nathan in key roles. Happy Raj is being positioned as an entertaining blend of love and family drama set against a refreshing backdrop.
On the technical front, the film boasts an experienced crew with cinematography by Madhan Christopher, music composed by Justin Prabhakaran, editing by RK Selva, and production design by Kumar Gangappan.
Happy Raj is scheduled for a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu on March 27, and with the strong distribution support of Mythri Movie Distributors LLP, the film is expected to gain solid momentum among Telugu audiences.
