What is the story?

Venkata Swamy resorts to pressuring Ramana to sign a declaration relinquishing any claims to the family inheritance. This triggers his direct confrontation with him.

Mahesh Babu: Superlative!
Prakash Raj: Routine.
Ramya Krishna: Good but not touching.
Sree Leela: Brainless glam doll role.
Meenakshi Chaudhary: What was she even doing?
Vennela Kishore: Not so funny.
Cameo Performances: Sunil, Ajay, Ajay Ghosh and others are run of the mill.
Supporting artists: Jayaram, Raghu Babu and Easwari Rao are okay.
Others: Murali Sharma, Rao Ramesh, Jagapathi Babu satisfy.

Technical Departments:

SS Thaman: His songs are enjoyable.
Dance choreography: Superb.
Action scenes: Energetic but average shot division.
Cinematography: Nothing notable.
Production design: Unworthy.

What Works?

1. The storyline is for the family audience.

2. Mahesh Babu’s abilities.

3. The climax.

What Fails:

1. Unnecessary scenes.

2. Lack of a cohesive narrative in the first half.

3. Banal lines.

4. No memorable sentimentality.

Guntur Kaaram is boring. It is not terrible, though. Mahesh Babu wins but Trivikram hurts.
