Grand Ugadi Awards Ceremony by ‘Sri Kalasudha Telugu Association’ in Chennai on the 30th of this Month

The Sri Kalasudha Telugu Association, which has been honoring Telugu achievers annually with the Ugadi Awards in Chennai, is preparing for this year’s event. The grand Ugadi Awards Ceremony is set to take place on March 30 at the Music Academy in Royapettah, Chennai. The event details were shared by the organizers today at a press conference held at the Hyderabad Film Chamber.

Sri Kalasudha Telugu Association President, Bethireddy Srinivas, stated:
“For over 25 years, our association has been celebrating Telugu pride in Chennai by presenting the Ugadi Awards. This year, the awards ceremony will be held at the Chennai Music Academy on March 30, starting at 4:29 PM. The prestigious Buttabomma Award will be presented to actresses Meenakshi Chaudhary and Sakshi Vaidya. Meanwhile, actor Dulquer Salmaan and director Prashanth Varma will be honored with the Bapu-Ramana Award.

Additionally, the Best Sensational Film award will go to Pushpa 2, while Hanuman will be awarded Best Film. In the acting categories, Prabhas and Allu Arjun have been named Best Actors, while Indraja and Nivetha Thomas will receive the Best Actresses Award. Several other categories will recognize outstanding contributions by Telugu actors, filmmakers, and technicians. We hope to make this year’s Ugadi Awards another grand success.”

Actor Gemini Suresh, who will be hosting the event, expressed his excitement:
“I sincerely appreciate the efforts of Sri Kalasudha Telugu Association in supporting Telugu culture. It is an honor to be the event host this time. I have previously received the blessings of the late S. P. Balasubrahmanyam garu for my hosting in Telugu, and I hope Telugu people everywhere will take part in this grand event and make it a success.”

Renowned film journalist Prabhu, who will also be honored, shared his thoughts:

The event will also feature committee members Venu, Parvathaneni Rambabu, Dr. Meenakshi, Parvataneni Rambabu and Keshava Chari, along with distinguished guests YJ Rambabu and Raghubabu.
