Everyone Will Enjoy Sampradayini Suppini Suddapoosani, Releasing in Theatres on March 6: Hero Shivaji
The much-anticipated crime comedy family thriller Sampradayini Suppini Suddapoosani, produced by and starring noted actor Shivaji under the banner of Sri Shivaji Productions, is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on March 6. Adding to the excitement, the film marks the reunion of the popular on-screen pair Shivaji and Laya, who earlier delivered several memorable hits together.
Directed by Sudheer Sriram, the film is jointly produced by Shivaji and leading OTT platform ETV Win. Renowned producers Bunny Vasu and Vamsi Nandipati are presenting the film in theatres. A press meet was held to officially announce the theatrical release.
Addressing the media, hero-producer Shivaji expressed his delight over the film’s global theatrical release on March 6. He thanked ETV Win, Bunny Vasu, and Vamsi Nandipati for their strong support, stating that the film was always envisioned as a theatrical experience. Although ETV Win initially explored the project as original OTT content, the team unanimously felt the film deserved a big-screen outing. Shivaji revealed that audiences who watched the film laughed wholeheartedly and expressed confidence that the entertainer would appeal to viewers of all age groups. He also conveyed special thanks to Anil Ravipudi for encouraging the team to opt for a theatrical release.
ETV Win Business Head Saikrishna said it was a pleasure to see Shivaji and Laya reunite after a long gap. Describing the film as a perfect blend of crime, comedy, and family emotions, he expressed confidence that audiences would thoroughly enjoy the film in theatres.
Actress Laya shared that while she was initially happy yet slightly disappointed when the film was planned for OTT, her heart always associates cinema with the theatrical experience. She expressed immense joy over the film’s theatrical release and thanked everyone who made it possible. Laya said she is eagerly waiting to watch the film along with the audience and believes it will mark a powerful beginning to her second innings. She added that the film carries strong emotional depth and should be experienced on the big screen.
Producer Bunny Vasu revealed that after watching the film, Anil Ravipudi strongly recommended a theatrical release. Encouraged by Shivaji’s confidence, the team moved forward with the decision. He praised Shivaji’s performance, stating that the actor has reached a new level compared to his 1990s work, and said Laya’s role would leave a lasting impression. He expressed confidence that the blend of crime thriller elements and family emotions would make the film a success.
Vamsi Nandipati said the beloved Shivaji–Laya combination is returning to the silver screen with a highly entertaining film. Calling it a gripping thriller with strong entertainment value, he voiced confidence that the film would emerge as a blockbuster.
Director Sudheer Sriram stated that although the project began as an OTT venture, Anil Ravipudi’s feedback changed the course of its release. He described it as nothing short of a miracle that both ETV Win and Shivaji agreed to bring the film to theatres, adding that good content has finally found its rightful place on the big screen. He also announced that a new trailer will be released soon.
Senior actor Ali praised the director for presenting the film in a neat and engaging manner. He invited audiences to watch the film in theatres on March 6 and expressed confidence that the Shivaji–Laya pairing would once again win hearts.
