Disha Patani’s House Attack: Shooters Eliminated in Police Encounter
Two Gang Members Behind Firing at Actress Disha Patani’s House Killed in Encounter
Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh – In a dramatic turn of events, the two shooters involved in the recent firing outside Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s residence in Bareilly have been gunned down in a police encounter. The operation was carried out jointly by the Delhi Police Special Cell, Uttar Pradesh STF, and Haryana STF.
The incident, which shook the city in the early hours of September 12, 2025, saw two armed assailants on a motorcycle fire 8–10 rounds at Patani’s house. At the time, her family members, including her father Jagdish Singh Patani, a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police, were inside. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The slain shooters have been identified as Ravinder from Rohtak and Arun from Sonipat, both active members of the Rohit Godara–Goldy Brar gang, an extension of the Lawrence Bishnoi network. The gang later claimed responsibility for the attack, alleging that Disha’s sister Khushboo Patani had made derogatory remarks against Hindu religious figures.
During the encounter, police recovered firearms, live cartridges, and the motorcycle used in the attack. Authorities have launched a wider investigation to track down other associates of the gang.
Reacting swiftly to the incident, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed officials to take strict action, reiterating the state’s zero-tolerance policy towards organized crime.
Speaking to the media, Disha Patani’s father expressed relief at the quick police action and confirmed that additional safety measures are being implemented for the family.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has been at the center of multiple high-profile criminal cases in India, including the attack on Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai and the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. The group’s expanding influence has reignited concerns over celebrity security and the rise of gang violence across the country.
