Dimple Hayathi Turns Fierce Mandaram In Sharwanand-Sampath Nandi’s Bhogi
Charming Star Sharwanand is reinventing himself with Bhogi, a massive pan-India period action saga that marks his first collaboration with Mass Maverick Sampath Nandi. Produced by KK Radhamohan under the prestigious Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner and presented by Lakshmi Radhamohan, the film is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious and high-scale ventures in Sharwa’s career. Following the tremendous response to the film’s promotional content, the makers have now unveiled the striking first look of Dimple Hayathi as Mandaram.
Introducing Mandaram, the makers revealed Dimple Hayathi in a fierce and captivating avatar draped in a blazing red saree. Seated with elegance yet radiating intensity, she holds a traditional palm-leaf hand fan, while the rustic setup around her — featuring vintage props and authentic traditional elements — perfectly reflects the raw essence of the 1960s backdrop. Her piercing expression and commanding screen presence hint at a bold woman who lives by her own rules.
Mandaram is portrayed as a fearless and unapologetically strong character who stands tall amidst chaos. With a fiery attitude that perfectly matches the red-hot aura of the poster, she is expected to bring tremendous intensity and emotional power to the narrative of Bhogi.
The team recently completed filming several high-voltage action episodes. An elaborate set recreating a 1960s Telangana village has been erected in Hyderabad, where the shoot is progressing at a brisk pace. The makers are extremely confident about the film’s massive scale, rooted storytelling, and hard-hitting action blocks.
The film also stars Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead. Her previously released character poster showcased her as an innocent and hardworking village belle, earning an excellent response from audiences. Set in the early 1960s, Bhogi is a gripping period action drama unfolding in a fictional village located on the borders of Telangana and Maharashtra.
Sharwanand’s rugged makeover, intense body language, and powerful screen presence have already generated strong buzz around the project. Known for delivering energetic mass entertainers, Sampath Nandi is reportedly crafting Bhogi as a visually grand and emotionally charged action spectacle, backed by a powerful script.
The film boasts a highly experienced technical crew. Kiran Kumar Manne is handling the art direction, while cinematographer A. Kishor Kumar is capturing the rustic world of Bhogi with rich visual depth. Adding further intensity and emotional weight to the narrative is the music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.
Positioned as a major pan-India entertainer, Bhogi is slated for a grand theatrical release on August 28, 2026, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages, arriving during the festive occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
