Dhananjay’s Halagali First Look & Teaser Out

Dhananjay’s Halagali First Look & Teaser Out

Renowned Kannada actor Dhananjay has teamed up with director Sukesh DK for a high-octane, Pan-World cinematic spectacle titled Halagali. Backed by producer Kalyan Chakravarthy Dhoolipalla under the Duhar Movies banner, this ambitious project is being made on a massive scale in two parts, across five languages—Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Halagali narrates the untold saga of the Bedar community, celebrated for their fearless guerrilla warfare against British colonial forces. Rooted in resistance and valor, the film promises to be a gripping historical epic that shines a light on a lesser-known chapter of Indian history.

First Look & Teaser: A Fiery Glimpse of Rebellion

The makers recently unveiled the first look poster, which showcases Dhananjay in a commanding warrior avatar. The title of Part One, “Battle For The Weapons”, sets the tone for an intense story of struggle and defiance.

The teaser further amplifies the excitement. Dhananjay appears as a revolutionary leader, fearlessly confronting British oppression. In a powerful visual highlight, he hurls a spear at the British flag, which crashes to the ground—revealing his fierce, determined face. This moment not only electrifies but also positions his character as a symbol of rebellion.

Dhananjay’s Transformation & Performance

The teaser builds strong elevations around Dhananjay’s character, portraying him as a patriot and warrior. The actor has undergone a complete physical transformation, with scars, bare-chested intensity, traditional war gear, and a battle axe in hand, all adding authenticity to his role. Surrounded by comrades and facing colonial muskets, his presence radiates courage and defiance.

Speaking about the film, Dhananjay shared:

“History has always fascinated me, but Halagali is special because it’s about our soil, our people, and their courage. Playing a warrior who fought for freedom is both an honour and a responsibility.”

  • Action: National Award-winner Vikram Mor (of KGF fame)

  • Lead Actress: Sapthami Gowda in a pivotal role

Producer Kalyan Chakravarthy, who has distributed over 20 Kannada and Telugu films, sees Halagali as a story that resonates globally:
