‘Custody’ Head Up High is an ode to the Khakee

Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Custody’ is up for a theatrical release on May 12. Its first song is a cheerful tribute to the cops, who ensure “safety and security”, words found in the song. The hero dons the uniform with a friendly vibe.
Written by Ramajogayya Sastry and set to tune by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the song is sung by Arun Kaundinya and Asal Kolar, with the composer chipping in with vocals.
“Truly blessed to be working with them. Here’s the Lyrical to celebrate the Spirit of POLICE,” the Akkineni hero wrote, plugging the song.
Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the action drama stars Krithi Shetty as the heroine. Maestro Ilaiyaraaja has also composed music for the film.
