Confirmed- ‘RRR’ has been postponed

The postponement of the ‘RRR‘ movie has been confirmed. After endless hours of suspense, producer DVV Danayya‘s office released a statement on Saturday evening, stating that the interests of all stakeholders were considered while making the unavoidable decision.

“Keeping the best interests of all the involved parties in mind, we are forced to postpone our film. Our sincere thanks to all the fans and audience for their unconditional love,” the official statement said.

Some situations are out of our control, said the makers. Many states in India have closed theaters as a result of the pandemic, prompting the decision.

In Maharashtra, the state government issued new restrictions last week, mandating cinema halls to run at 50% occupancy.

RRR is the second film to be postponed as a result of an increase of COVID-19 cases across the country. Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey was previously postponed from its December 31 release date.

With ‘RRR,’ the makers have promised to bring back the glory of Indian cinema whenever it is released.
