Community Pure Water Annual Fundraiser 2026 Brings Changemakers Together at Chowmahalla Palace
United by a shared commitment to improve health and quality of life through access to safe drinking water in rural India, the Community Pure Water Annual Fundraiser 2026 was held in grand style at the iconic Chowmahalla Palace in Hyderabad. The evening brought together distinguished leaders from philanthropy, business, civil society, and government, all aligned around one vital cause—clean and safe drinking water.
The fundraiser was proudly supported by Race2Win Foundation as the Title Sponsor. Long-time supporters, new partners, CSR leaders, and social change advocates gathered with the shared understanding that sustainable progress—whether in economic growth, education, or gender equity—cannot be achieved without restoring health through access to safe drinking water.
Transforming Rural Health Through Preventive Infrastructure
Founded by Ravi Reddy as the flagship initiative of the Community Development Foundation, Community Pure Water is dedicated to eliminating health risks caused by contaminated drinking water in rural India. Moving beyond short-term charity, the organization treats purified water as preventive health infrastructure and has developed one of India’s most effective community-owned safe water delivery models.
Today, more than 1.2 million people across rural villages and schools access safe, affordable, and reliable drinking water every day through over 550 Community Pure Water purification plants across the country.
Each Community Pure Water plant operates as a 24/7 ISO-certified micro-utility, integrating advanced technology, automation, preventive maintenance, and community ownership. Collectively, these plants distribute over 9 million litres of purified water daily, maintaining over 97% operational uptime. This model has significantly reduced disease burden, improved nutrition levels, and enabled healthier, more productive lives for families.
The evening powerfully underscored how investing in safe water infrastructure is one of the most impactful preventive public health interventions and a strong catalyst for long-term community development.

Under the leadership of Mrs. Pratiksha Prashant, Fundraising Committee Chairperson and Board Member, the Annual Fundraiser 2026 successfully united representatives from diverse sectors who share a commitment to water security. Thanks to their generous support, Community Pure Water achieved its fundraising goal to extend safe drinking water access to 25 additional rural schools.

Curated as an exclusive charity dinner, the fundraiser featured a six-course gourmet menu crafted by renowned chefs Avinash Martins, Maithrayi Iyer, and Vinesh Johny. Set beneath the palace’s majestic chandeliers and expansive courtyards, the evening beautifully blended culture, cuisine, and compassion—creating an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

The event was graced by philanthropist and producer Pinky Reddy as the Chief Guest, and acclaimed actor, director, and social activist Nandita Das as the Special Guest Speaker.
