Chiranjeevi Donates ₹10 Lakh NTR Award to Charity
Megastar Chiranjeevi, who is riding high on the blockbuster success of Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu and gearing up for an exciting slate of upcoming projects, marked a special occasion in a truly heartfelt and meaningful way.
On the occasion of his son, Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s birthday, Chiranjeevi chose to celebrate not with grandeur, but with generosity. Recently honoured with the prestigious NTR Award by the Telangana Government, along with a cash prize of ₹10 lakh, the megastar donated the entire amount to five philanthropic organizations, reinforcing his long-standing commitment to social welfare.
A significant portion of the donation was extended to the Serve Foundation, supporting their daily needs. The gesture carried deep emotional value, as the elderly residents had expressed their wish to celebrate Ram Charan’s birthday after meeting him during the shoot of Game Changer. Fulfilling their heartfelt desire, Chiranjeevi invited 30 residents to his Blood Bank, gifted them new clothes, and hosted a warm, festive meal.
Support was also provided to the Devnar Foundation for the Blind for its dedicated efforts in empowering visually impaired individuals. Additionally, the Valmiki Foundation and Nayasree Foundation received contributions to further strengthen their care and support for orphaned children. Each donation reflected Chiranjeevi’s belief that true success lies in uplifting the lives of others.
Extending his compassion further, Chiranjeevi also contributed to the Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital, specifically to aid the treatment of a young girl courageously battling cancer. This act once again highlighted his unwavering dedication to healthcare and to supporting families during their most challenging times.
By transforming a personal celebration into a moment of collective kindness, Chiranjeevi has once again set an inspiring example — proving that true joy lies not just in celebration, but in sharing it with those in need.
