‘Chaurya Paatham’ is a gripping crime- Trinadha Rao Nakkina at the trailer launch event.
Blockbuster director Trinadha Rao Nakkina is stepping into film production with his upcoming crime-comedy drama ‘Chaurya Paatham’. He is introducing young and talented Indra Ram as the lead actor. Nikhil Gollamari, who previously worked as an associate director under Chandoo Mondeti for films like Karthikeya 2, is making his directorial debut with this film. Produced under the Nakkina Narrative banner, the film is co-produced by V. Chudamani. The teaser, with its thrilling crime and dark humor blend, has already created a buzz. The songs have become super hits. Slated for release on April 25th, Chaurya Paatham is expected to be one of the biggest summer attractions. Today, the makers launched the trailer.

“Greetings to everyone. For various reasons, audiences have been coming to theaters less frequently these days. In such a scenario, making a film entirely with newcomers is a daring move — and that’s exactly what we’ve done with this film. While making this movie, I truly understood the challenges a producer faces and developed immense respect for the profession.
We’re bringing this movie to the audience relying on the power of word-of-mouth. I remember how We Are Now of Age (a previous film) started with a limited theater release and went on to become a big success due to positive word-of-mouth. We are placing the same trust in this film.
Please, I request the audience — watch this film. I really liked the concept Karthik pitched. It’s about a village where no crimes have ever occurred, not even a single case filed — which I found very intriguing. Based on that, we built a story.
‘Chaurya Paatham’ doesn’t mean just learning tricks to steal — it’s about a theft done out of necessity, and the lesson the character learns through the process. The story unfolds as someone digs a tunnel and what happens as they pass through it. I was very impressed by the technical aspects. Nikhil wrote a brilliant love story into it. Devdutt composed fantastic songs — the visuals are on par with big-budget films.
We even shot in zero oxygen levels. It’s a dark comedy film with strong technical values. We created 14 sets for this movie and worked really hard. The whole team supported each other. Roll Rida gave a great promotional song. I personally oversaw the re-recording, and it came out wonderfully.
Many distributors have already watched the film and unanimously praised the music director. I sincerely fold my hands and request the audience — come to the theaters, watch this film, and if you like it, please tell others. Only if you watch it, we can continue making such films.
