Changure Bangaru Raja is bankrolled by massraja Ravi Teja under his RT Team Works banner. The movie is a crime thriller with a heavy dose of comedy. The movie features ‘C/o Kancherapalem’ fame Karthik Rathnam in the lead role.
Plot
Bangarraju (Karthik Rathanm) belongs to Duggada, Narsipatnam. He is a bike mechanic. His village is known for colour stones and the people are always on the lookout for rare and precious stones. After Bangarraju disagrees with Somu Naidu, the latter is found murdered. Police suspect Bangarraju and take him into custody. Now, it is up to Bangarraju to find the real killer and come out of the issue clean.
Analysis
The story is interestingly charted out by the director Satish Varma. The lead character, the comedy part, and the casting are good. However, he fails to strike the right balance between running a comedy track and a murder thriller parallel, in the most gripping and convincing way. His writing entertains but how he dealt the screenplay kind of disappoints. The technical aspects of the film were adequate and production values are great.
