Telugu cinema is abuzz with excitement following the release of the teaser for Kali, a new psychological thriller. The much-anticipated film, starring young actors Prince and Naresh Agastya, was unveiled by none other than blockbuster director Nag Ashwin himself.
Nag Ashwin praised the teaser, calling it “interesting and impressive.” He commended director Siva Seshu for introducing a fresh concept to Telugu audiences and extended his best wishes to the entire team.
K. Raghavendra Reddy, the film’s presenter, expressed his delight at releasing the teaser. He emphasized that Kali is an intriguing psychological thriller centered around the enigmatic character of Kali. He assured fans that post-production work is progressing smoothly and promised to bring the film to audiences soon.

Producer Leela Gautham Varma expressed his gratitude to Nag Ashwin for launching the teaser despite his busy schedule. Writer and director Siva Seshu shed light on the film’s unique story, which blends elements of mythology and psychological thrill. He hopes Kali will offer a captivating experience for viewers and confirmed plans for a grand theatrical release.
The launch event for the Kali teaser was a star-studded affair, attended by creative producers Radhakrishna Tathineni and Dharani Kumar TR, Executive Producer Phanindra, and other prominent figures from the industry.
The gripping teaser offers a glimpse into the film’s dark and suspenseful world. We see Shivaram (played by Prince), disillusioned with the world, on the verge of taking his own life. However, his attempt is interrupted by a mysterious stranger (Naresh Agastya) who appears at his doorstep. The stranger reveals intimate details about Shivaram’s life, including private events known only to him and his wife. This leaves Shivaram utterly bewildered.
The teaser concludes with several unanswered questions that leave viewers wanting more. Why was Shivaram, seemingly happily married, contemplating suicide? Who is this stranger who appears to possess an uncanny knowledge of Shivaram’s most personal secrets? And what dark truth lies behind the stranger’s chilling presence – a dead body bearing a striking resemblance to Shivaram himself?
The Kali cast boasts a talented ensemble, including Prince, Naresh Agastya, Neha Krishnan, Gauthamraju, Gundu Sudarshan, Kedar Shankar, Mani Chandana, and Madhumani.
